Airlines win cartel-fine reductions at Swiss court, rulings show

( January 19, 2023, 17:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Several airlines have won reductions at a Swiss court on fines imposed for their role in an air-cargo cartel, according to rulings made last year but only recently published. In November, Switzerland's Federal Administrative Court found that the conduct was of a less serious nature, deeming that the percentage for the base amount needed to be corrected. Judges thus ruled in favor of reducing the fine from 8 percent of the relevant turnover, to either 5 or 6 percent.The rulings are attached (in German)....
