Elliott, Arconic agree to replace board nominee

( December 21, 2017, 11:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Paul Singer's Elliott has reached an agreement with US metals maker Arconic to appoint Dave Miller to fill a vacancy left on Arconic's board by Patrice Merrin's resignation. Merrin was one of three Elliott nominees that took to Arconic's board in May after a proxy fight brought by the activist investor over company oversight. Miller, a senior portfolio manager for the fund, is set to be voted into his board seat at the company's next annual meeting. Wednesday's filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission also shows a reduction in Elliott's shares at Arconic from 13.2 percent in May to 12.1 percent this month.Find the filing attached below. ...
