Bulgarian authority refers alleged Vivacom acquisition to EU Commission

( February 20, 2015, 11:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Bulgarian competition authority has asked the European Commission to look at an alleged indirect change in control in Bulgarian Telecommunications that occurred through a share transfer from Bromak Telecom Invest to Luxembourg company SHCO 79. A complainant, the Technology Center-Institute of Microelectronics, reported the possible merger to the national regulator, which decided that the size of the companies’ turnover meant that the deal should be reviewed by the commission. Bulgarian Telecommunications operates under the brand name Vivacom.КЗК ПРЕПРАЩА НА ЕК КАЗУСА С КОНТРОЛА НА БТК...
