Three individuals sentenced to prison in US after pleading guilty to bribery involving equipment sales to Bolivian military

( June 27, 2022, 19:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Three businessmen who pleaded guilty to charges in a scheme to bribe Bolivian officials to obtain an overpriced contract to sell tear gas to the Bolivian military were all sentenced earlier this month. Philip Lichtenfeld, a businessman, and Bryan Samuel Berkman, owner of a Florida tactical equipment supply company, received 26 months and 28 months in prison, respectively. Berkman's father, Luis, was sentenced to 38 months behind bars after pleading guilty to his role in transferring the bribe payments.See judgments below....
