YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok get information requests under EU Digital Services Act on recommender systems

The commission has asked YouTube and Snapchat about the parameters their algorithms use to recommend content to users, as well as their role in amplifying certain systemic risks related to elections, users' mental well-being and the protection of minors.
