Japan's LINE Yahoo reports on progress in data-management separation from Naver

However, LY Corp said it would be difficult for Naver to sell its stake in the company in the short term. In the aftermath of leaks of data belonging to LINE users and LY staff last November, following a malware attack originating from Naver Cloud, the Japanese tech company has been beefing up its data management to stop relying on Naver's systems, under the guidance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Personal Information Protection Commission.The statements, in Japanese, are attached....
