Altrad receives CMA green light for Cape purchase

( September 1, 2017, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: French industrial equipment maker Altrad has said that the Competition and Markets Authority has no further questions regarding its purchase of UK rival Cape, for 332 million pounds. While the merger does not seem to have gone through a merger inquiry from the watchdog, Altrad says that correspondence from the CMA confirms it has satisfied the merger conditions set out in the deal.The full text of the statement follows....
