Peru’s foreign antibribery law enacted

( April 22, 2016, 03:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Peru’s new foreign antibribery law took effect with its publication in the country’s official journal on April 21. Under the law, Peruvian judges will be able to sanction local companies that engage in corrupt practices overseas by imposing fines of more than 2 million soles ($612,090), withdrawing licenses and permits, or closing down the whole company, Peru’s high-level anticorruption commission said in a statement.CAN statement follows in Spanish....
