​​Alumeco-Metallservice merger receives Swedish approval

( August 29, 2019, 11:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Swedish competition authority has decided to approve without conditions metal trader Alumeco’s plan to acquire its rival Metallservice. The deal was previously notified to the watchdog on May 27. In its investigation, the competition authority particularly focused on the potential competition issues the merger could create in the aluminum products retail space. The merger won't significantly harm competition in the market, the watchdog ruled.Statement follows in Swedish....
