New Zealand's Evergreen seeks approval for ACM cash-in-transit tie-up

( April 11, 2024, 02:06 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: New Zealand's Evergreen Limited is seeking regulatory approval for its purchase of its main rival for cash-in-transit services, the Linfox-owned ACM New Zealand. In a merger authorization application lodged this week, Evergreen and ACM told the New Zealand Commerce Commission that the deal would not substantially lessen competition in any market, because one of the companies was likely to go out of business if they were forced to operate independently of each other.
