Delta, [24]7.ai harmed customers by not protecting user data and delaying breach notification, amended complaint alleges

( April 29, 2019, 19:41 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Delta Air Lines and its software and services partner [24]7.ai failed to prepare adquate defenses to a cyberattack, and then failed to notify victims in a timely way of an ensuing data breach, a group of Delta customers claim in an amended complaint in their proposed class-action litigation. Delta and [24]7.ai "needlessly exposed Plaintiff and Class members to significant harm in the form of identity theft, potential false charges, and cost of measures to address this exposure of personal information, in violation of their contractual, statutory and common law obligations," according to the amended complaint. The suit alleges violations of the Federal Stored Communications Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and other laws.See document attached below....
