Halt to Amazon, Flipkart probe appealed by Indian competition regulator to Supreme Court

( October 7, 2020, 06:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Competition Commission of India has filed an appeal against a February high court order that halted its investigation into Amazon and Flipkart's dealings with preferred sellers. The CCI was investigating whether the two e-commerce giants had been using exclusive arrangements, deep discounting and preferential listings as exclusionary tactics to foreclose competition.
