( February 10, 2014, 17:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The French competition authority has conditionally cleared plans by pay-TV operator Canal Plus Overseas to acquire Mediaserv. Among others, Canal Plus Overseas has committed to not discriminate against Internet TV services providers, and to not bundle pay-TV and internet packages at prices below the individual package prices. Canal Plus will also sign agreements to share its satellite broadcast capacities with pay-TV operators. The commitments are valid for 5 years and can be renewed.Full statement follows:...
