​Philips extends offer to buy Volcano, subject to antitrust clearance in Taiwan

Volcano provides catheter-based imaging and measurement solutions for cardiovascular applications. The deal was announced on Dec. 17 and the parties filed notification to the Taiwan FTC on Dec. 29.
