The Competition Commission of India declined to re-examine an impugned directive from a competition perspective because the same matter was challenged last year and the previous set of commissioners had found no cause to intervene. The regulator said that without any proof of an anticompetitive agreement, there were no grounds to suggest that NABL had violated section 3 of the 2002 Competition Act, and dismissed granting any interim relief to the informant, the Association of Indian Laboratories.Allegations that the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, or NABL, abused its dominance in a directive issued last year were dismissed by the Indian watchdog....
