( July 26, 2016, 08:45 GMT | Insight) -- Indonesian state-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura I's president director, Sulistyo Wimbo, has rejected accusations that the firm has a monopoly on administering airports, claiming that the law allows it to engage in commercial activities that include setting up a subsidiary to handle cargo, Bisnis.com reports. He argued that by running 13 airports the company had not monopolized the market, but was merely carrying out its mandate according to Law No. 1 of 2009 on aviation, under which it had an obligation to provide passenger and cargo terminals. He added that subsidiary Angkasa Pura Logistik had a competitor in the form of private firm Jasa Angkasa Semesta.
