KFTC postpones decision in duty-free store price-fixing case

The case will be discussed on May 4 instead. The firms, which include Lotte, Shilla and SK Walkerhill, stand accused of fixing the prices of their products by adjusting won-dollar exchange rates between 2008 and 2012. An unnamed industry source was cited as saying that the decision had been postponed because the government was expected to issue additional duty free licenses next week. Lotte and SK failed in bids for additional licenses last year and their prospects of winning new licenses could be harmed if they received penalties for collusion....
