National Telecommunications and Information Administration: White House 'Privacy Framework'

( February 23, 2012, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Obama Administration, through the NTIA unit of the US Department of Commerce, has released privacy framework that incudes a 'Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights' that is meant to be a privacy 'blueprint' for the internet age. Under the framework, the Federal Government is to convene discussions among companies, privacy and consumer advocates, international partners, state Attorneys General and other groups who will then develop 'codes of conduct' that implement the Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights.Please see attached document...
