T-Mobile, Sprint commit not to close deal until after court decides states' case in proposed schedule

( August 19, 2019, 22:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: T-Mobile and Sprint have agreed not to close their deal until 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on the sixth day after the court overseeing the challenge to the merger by a group of states enters final judgment, if that decision permits the transaction to close. The statement was included in a joint proposed schedule filed by Sprint that also stipulates that trial will last two weeks with time equitably divided. The companies reserved the right to seek a third week after the states disclose a final witness list, with the states agreeing not to oppose the request if the additional time is equitably divided.See document attached....
