Wuhan Jinyu, DHL Logistics hit with fines by China's SAMR for failure to notify joint venture

( March 12, 2021, 01:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Wuhan Jinyu Free Trade Development and DHL Logistics (Beijing) have been fined 150,000 yuan ($23,125) each by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation for failing to notify a joint venture between them, which is called Wuhan Jinyu DHL Supply Chain Management. In a penalty decision dated Feb. 24, 2021, the regulator said the deal had met the prescribed notification threshold, but it had no anticompetitive impact. The regulator opened an investigation of the case in April 2019.The statement follows and the penalty decision is attached....
