Brazil's antitrust watchdog discloses food, maritime and building services deals awaiting fast-track reviews

( April 14, 2016, 15:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition authority today disclosed three deals awaiting fast-track review. Holding company Setah Participações notified the antitrust agency of its plan to buy 10 companies that operate in the market of food retail. The companies are currently owned by several individuals. Holding company Digital Marine Solutions II plans to acquire Jeppesen Marine, which sells navigation information for maritime transport and is currently held by aircraft manufacturer Boeing. Quality/Embrase intends to buy four companies that operate in the market for building services, including cleaning and maintenance services, and are currently held by three individuals. Quality/Embrase also operates in the building services market.OJ statements follow in Portuguese....
