Fish market searched by Hong Kong regulator for suspected cartels

( December 20, 2022, 08:56 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Hong Kong's antitrust regulator today searched premises at a local wholesale fish market for suspected anticompetitive activities among the wholesalers. The alleged practices include price fixing, output limitation and group boycott, the Competition Commission said in a statement. Today's investigation followed a Nov. 27 joint operation led by the police at the Aberdeen fish market, where the regulator surveyed practitioners from over 30 wholesalers. In addition to searching premises, the commission said it has also requested relevant parties to attend to provide information relating to the case.The statement is attached....
