Indian Railways suppliers, 10 individuals hit with new bid-rigging fines

By Freny Patel ( June 10, 2022, 03:28 GMT | Insight) -- Seven Indian Railways suppliers including Jai Polypan, Polyset Plastics, Power Mould and Anju Techno Industries, along with 10 individuals associated with the companies, have receive a new fine for bid-rigging and cartel offenses relating to tenders for the provision of protective tubes. The Competition Commission of India also ordered the companies to immediately end anticompetitive practices and imposed a collective penalty of $38,551.
