U.S. Federal Trade Commission: FTC guidelines on how to make effective disclosures in digital advertising

( March 12, 2013, 17:17 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has released new guidance explaining to mobile and online advertisers how they can make disclosures clear and conspicuous to avoid deception.  The guidance says if a disclosure could be construed as ambiguous or deceptive, advertisers must make sure the ad is clear on all mediums on which a consumer might view it. See the guidance below....
