​Judge dismisses suit against Twitter, Facebook, Google over Texas terrorist shooting

Spero has dismissed a Dallas police sergeant’s suit against Twitter, Facebook and Google alleging the companies gave a platform to the terrorist organizations that radicalized a terrorist who killed five officers in July 2016. “Plaintiffs do not plausibly allege a connection between Hamas and the Dallas shooting, and thus fail to establish that Defendants‘ alleged support of Hamas was a proximate cause of Plaintiffs‘ injuries,” Spero ruled. “Most if not all of Plaintiffs‘ claims are also barred by the CDA.”See document below....
