Brazilian competition authority rejects requests by Panasonic Electric Works, Danfoss to review cartel fine

The requests included one by Panasonic Electric Works, or PEW,  which sought a review of its alleged participation, claiming that it never produced or commercialized the type of compressors targeted in the investigation.The Tribunal of the Brazilian competition authority today unanimously denied the requests of companies and individuals that the regulator clarify aspects of its decision to fine them for their roles in a cartel among refrigeration compressor producers....
