US ready to resolve Boeing, Airbus aircraft subsidy dispute with EU, WTO panel told

( April 11, 2019, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US said in its prepared statement to the World Trade Organization dispute settlement panel that it wants a "mutually agreed solution" to address government subsidies for aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus. The panel officially adopted the compliance report of the EU's complaint against US-based Boeing's subsidies from the Washington state government. "We are ready to discuss with the EU and its member States how we might resolve both sides’ disagreements with respect to existing WTO-inconsistent subsidies and reach an agreement so that neither side adopts new WTO-inconsistent subsidies," the US statement said.See attached document....
