Amazon, Walmart's Flipkart accused of self-preferencing, deep discounting in leaked Indian report

Two separate reports based on the findings of the Competition Commission of India's investigative arm have been sent to the e-commerce giants, ordering them to remove confidential information, correct inaccuracies and provide details or counter arguments, MLex understands. The leaked reports open the prospect of Amazon and Flipkart seeking legal remedies. US-headquartered Amazon and Walmart-owned Flipkart have been accused of violating India's antitrust law by favoring certain sellers and engaging in deep discounting, in another case of a leaked investigation report.The e-commerce giants have received two separate reports based on findings by the investigative arm of the Competition Commission of India, or CCI, industry sources told MLex.The reports, running to 1,000 pages each, have ordered the tech giants to remove confidential information, correct inaccuracies and provide any details or counter arguments, MLex understands....
