Disclosing prices at EV charging points could spur competition, Norwegian watchdog says

( June 2, 2022, 13:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The mandatory disclosure of prices at electric-vehicle charging stations in Norway could spur competition in the market, the national competition authority has said. The statement was in response to feedback sought by the national Ministry of Children and Family Affairs on a potential regulation for EV charging. Such a regulation would give consumers the chance to choose the most economic offer, and it should function so that operators can't tacitly coordinate prices, the authority said. Additionally, EV innovation shouldn't suffer from the enforcement of such a regulation.Statement follows (in Norwegian)....
