Flanders companies can have EUR223 million in Covid-19, Brexit support, EU Commission says

( June 2, 2022, 09:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Companies in the Flanders region of Belgium that suffered a revenue decline between January 2020 and the end of this month will be eligible for direct grants. All sectors are eligible except for finance. The grants originate from a 223 million-euro plan that won state aid approval, the European Commission said. The support is aimed at compensating businesses affected by the pandemic and the effects of the UK's exit from the EU, and companies must receive the grants by the end of June.Statement follows....
