Kraft direct action plaintiffs seek exclusion from DPP, Cal-Maine settlement in egg antitrust suit

( January 23, 2015, 21:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Kraft Foods Global, General Mills, Nestle USA and The Kellogg Company have filed a motion asking US District Judge Gene E.K. Pratter to exclude them from a settlement between direct purchasers and Cal-Maine, or, alternatively, give them more time to opt out of that deal. “From the time they appeared in this case to today, the Kraft DAPs have pursued their own claims against Cal-Maine separate from the Direct Purchaser Class and did not intend to participate in the class settlement,” the companies said.See document below....
