EFF moves to intervene in Canadian Supreme Court case involving Google

( July 11, 2016, 22:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Electronic Frontier Foundation, a US digital rights group, has asked the Supreme Court of Canada to intervene in Google's appeal of a provincial court decision in British Columbia. The British Columbia court had issued a worldwide order to block search results, which involved the parties in an intellectual property dispute. The appeal raises questions "with respect to the reach of Canadian courts to issue mandatory, worldwide injunctions that impact free expression on the Internet and how competing righs should be balanced," EFF told the Supreme Court. Please see attached document....
