Solar-glass maker Xinyi PV loses EU court challenge over dumping tariffs

( December 14, 2022, 11:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Solar-glass maker Xinyi PV Products (Anhui) Holdings' challenge of dumping tariffs imposed in 2014 has been dismissed by the EU's General Court. The court rejected three pleas from Xinyi PV that the European Commission violated provisions of its own dumping regulation and did not give the company sufficient access to data to defend itself. Today's ruling came after the lower-tier EU court was asked by the EU Court of Justice to review the three pleas, which it hadn't considered in an original ruling in 2019.The judgment is attached.
