( March 3, 2021, 23:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google's disclosures about data collected from visitors to the website of the Northern District of California were "misleading" and "incomplete," and the true scope of data collection undercuts Google's motion to dismiss privacy claims against its Chrome browser, plaintiffs in one of two parallel but separate Chrome cases said in a court filing. "Just landing on the Court’s website alerts Google to the visit, who made the visit, from where, using what device, while the visitor is still exchanging communications at the Court’s web property," the plaintiffs said, after engaging a computer science professor from Johns Hopkins University to analyze the data collection.See document below....
