Trade enforcement law slowing imports of forced labor products from China, commission says

( August 8, 2017, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China continues to use prison labor to produce goods that it exports to the US in violation of US law, the Congressionally created US-China Economic and Security Review Commission said in a new report. But a trade enforcement law that went into effect last year has closed some loopholes that had allowed forced labor goods into the US, it said, and US Customs for the first time since 1996 withheld permission for the release of goods deemed to be produced by forced labor.Please see attached document....
