South Korea's Daewoong Pharmaceutical sanctioned for filing fake patent infringement litigation

The Korea Fair Trade Commission imposed a corrective order and a fine of 2.27 billion won ($2 million) on Daewoong for unreasonably filing patent infringement lawsuits against Pharvis Korea and Ahngook Pharmaceutical to hinder the rival companies’ sale of generic drugs.Daewoong Pharmaceutical was slapped with sanctions today by the South Korean antitrust regulator for abusing the country's patent infringement litigation system....
