SEB dismisses FinCEN files leaks as ‘nothing new’

( September 23, 2020, 07:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Swedish lender SEB has criticized a TV program, due to be aired today, which investigates the bank’s links to money laundering in the Baltic region. The program is based on the FinCEN files, a leak of thousands of Suspicious Activity Reports filed with US regulators. SEB, which was fined $107 million by the Swedish regulator for poor money laundering compliance earlier this year, said the leaks contained nothing new.Statement follows....
