Finland’s Virkkunen picked as EU digital chief to police Big Tech companies

The department also includes the AI Office, which will oversee the applications of new rules on model providers.Finland’s Henna Virkkunen has been proposed as the European Commission’s executive vice-president for tech sovereignty, security and democracy.
