Oxford University data breach assessed after hack at Covid lab

( February 26, 2021, 16:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The University of Oxford might face scrutiny from the UK Information Commissioner's Office, after the university reported a data breach following the reported hack of computers at a lab researching Covid-19. The ICO confirmed to MLex that it received a data-breach report and is assessing the information provided. The university appeared to play down the incident, saying it had no impact on its clinical research, and said it was working with the National Cyber Security Centre.Statement follows....
