Report released on Manchester health-trusts merger clearance

( August 3, 2017, 16:44 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Competition and Markets Authority has released its final report after clearing the planned merger between the NHS trusts of Central Manchester University Hospitals and University Hospital of South Manchester. The approval, on Tuesday, followed a fast-track phase II probe requested by the trusts. It found that the merger of the trusts, which together operate nine hospitals, would improve access to care for patients.The report is attached below....
