CCI rules VeriFone India Sales abuses market dominance in sale of PoS terminals

( April 13, 2015, 02:22 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Competition Commission of India ruled VeriFone India Sales abused its market dominance by imposing unfair and restrictive conditions on its supply of software development kits for point-of-sale terminals in a separate case filed by Three D Integrated Solutions. The CCI decided not to impose any fine on VeriFone since a penalty of 44,840,236 rupees ($720,000) was already imposed on the company in a similar case.The full statement is attached....
