The former executive left a memo in his jacket with a list of eight politicians he had bribed, including two of President Park Geun-hye’s former chiefs of staff, and her current chief of staff, along with the amount of the bribes. The initial investigation stems from embezzlement charges, as Sung was accused of taking government loans of 80 billion won ($74 million) to fund a failed oil exploration project in Russia, and then using a portion of the loan to create a 25 billion won slush fund, the report added....
