The investigation is centered on allegations that Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines president Ernesto Ordoñez, LaFarge Holcim Philippines and Republic Cement & Building Materials colluded to protect the interests of the industry association's members, by means including filing frivolous cases against non-CeMAP imported brands, issuing misleading information on supply conditions, and leaving independent importers vulnerable to predatory pricing lawsuits. ...
