EC extends Randstad, Vedior merger review after buyer offers remedies on Portuguese market

By Anne MacGregor and Dafydd Nelson ( March 28, 2008, 10:10 GMT | Insight) -- The European Commission has extended the deadline to rule on Randstad’s acquisition of rival employment services provider Vedior by ten working days after the company offered remedies concerning Portugal to offset antitrust concerns. The new deadline is 17 April.
