Zoom users' request for documents related to third-party apps denied by US magistrate judge

( February 23, 2021, 19:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Zoom users' request for documents related to Zoom’s data-sharing practices with third-party  “marketplace” apps identified as presenting a potential or actual security threat is too broad, US Magistrate Judge Susan Van Keulen said in a discovery order. The requests aren't supported by allegations in their first amended privacy and data security complaint against Zoom "and are therefore not relevant and not in proportion to the needs of this case," she said. See document below....
