Sanyuan Foods, Fosun need antitrust clearances in China, France for St Hubert deal

( July 31, 2017, 06:48 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The proposed acquisition of Brassica Holdings, which owns French margarine maker St Hubert, jointly by Beijing Sanyuan Foods and affiliates of Chinese conglomerate Fosun Group is subject to antitrust approvals from both the French competition authority and China's Ministry of Commerce, Sanyuan Foods said in a stock exchange filing. The deal also needs approvals by regulators including but not limited to the Beijing municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.The filing of Sanyuan Foods is attached....
