Spanish non-profit school gets GDPR fine

( September 2, 2024, 13:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Asociación Escuela Nacional de Equitacion, a non-profit school promoting tourist activities related to horse riding, has been fined 4,000 euros by the Spanish data protection authority for violating the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. The complainant argued the school had publicly shared their personal data without consent in response to negative Google reviews, also noting a legal case involving the complainant with another organization, the watchdog said.
