Austrian fine for improper video usage by snackbar operator reduced on appeal

( November 25, 2019, 18:21 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Austria's Federal Administrative court has reduced a fine that the country's data protection watchdog imposed on a snackbar in 2018, for allowing its camera to film areas beyond its control. There were no signs informing the public about the surveillance and recordings had been stored for too long.
