Ericsson asks Texas court to determine if patent licensing offer to Apple is FRAND

( January 14, 2015, 09:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Swedish technology company Ericsson has filed a complaint in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, in which it has asked the court to determine whether its global licensing offer for its standard-essential patent portfolios to Apple is fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory. The move follows Apple’s filing of a lawsuit in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, asking to find that it doesn’t infringe some of Ericsson’s patents.Full press release is attached....
