Aurubis, Wieland Werke end German probe with adjusted cooperation

The Bundeskartellamt said today that it found the adjustment of their cooperation in their Schwermetall Halbzeugwerk joint venture to be sufficient, and discontinued the proceedings. The companies must refrain from any form of influence in the production and supply of pre-rolled strip by Schwermetall. In addition, Schwermetall will be able to freely choose which pre-rolled strip, made of which alloys, will be supplied to which customers.Statement follows (in German). ...
